Coors Field ~ Denver Colorado

I love baseball...that's actually an understatement!  Of course, I am a HUGE KC Royals Fan but earlier this summer I was fortunate enough to visit Coors Field to watch the Rockies Play!  The stadium is gorgeous, not to mention the views of Colorado...one of my favorite places on earth!  It's in the perfect location with easy walking distance if you are staying in downtown Denver...think 16th street!!  Besides that, they are famous for their Rocky Dog, yes I ate one, it only happens at a baseball game so no judging that foot long deliciousness! 

There was a small rain delay but after it passed the weather was perfect and the game was a blast!  Like I always say, Colorado never disappoints!!  Make sure and stop by the View House, which is located directly across the street from the stadium, a cool bar with awesome rooftop views!

Summit Fair Fashion Show w/ Jana Style

My experience with the Summit Fair Fashion Show was amazing. Working with Jana was so much fun, she is the sweetest person and made sure the show was a success, even with the rain that day!  The day started with hair and make-up done by Beauty Brands of Summit Fair in Lee's Summit, Missouri.  There is nothing like sitting in front of one of the large makeup mirrors, all lit up, pretending to be famous... :)  No but for real, I need these people in my life daily!  It was so relaxing to get all dolled up for the show! I had two looks for the day and Jana did awesome at picking out what I was going to wear!  Macy's provided the clothing and they were spot on! 

Make up done by Michelle Adams of Beauty Brands of Lee's Summit at Summit Fair. She is awesome!  I am now addicted to Anastasia of Beverly Hills Beauty Express for Brows and Eyes!

9 Miles of Colorado Air

Colorado, the one place on earth I would never turn down to visit. I.Love.It.There!  I recently visited in June, twice actually, but the most recent time included myself and a friend running the Slacker Half Marathon.  Did I mention the air is thin there?  It was supposed to be a 3-person relay, but we decided the two of us would be just fine! I ran the first leg, 6 miles...she ran the second, 4 miles and we both ran the last 3 miles...I thought my legs were going to fall off!  Seriously! The view was gorgeous and I mean gorgeous! So besides the need for a motorized scooter after the race, it was the most peaceful and scenic run I have ever ran! We started at the Loveland Ski area and ended in the quaint little town of Georgetown. I am definitely returning, maybe this time I will train a bit before making the run..and I plan on taking on the whole 13 miles!  Luckily I had the most amazing photographer snapping images of the race, thank you Michelle!!  After the race, we stopped by this cute little bakery and yes I got a chocolate croissant...I deserved it! 

 

 

We finished afterward by eating lunch at The Original Hard Rock Café!  Check them out next time you are in the Rockies!! 

For those of you who run, I highly recommend this race! Early sign-up is usually in January of the race year!!!
