Believe Me, Belize Is Beautiful

The Best of Belize ... or at least our stay on Caye Caulker.  This tiny island is nothing fancy, so if you are looking for non-stop pampering or an all-inclusive resort, look elsewhere.  But for me, it was the perfect Caribbean get-a-way.  I am more of a "mingle with the locals" type of traveler.  And by the time we left the island, they knew me as the Kansas City girl.  That's how you know you fit in.

Belize is surrounded by the lush Central American jungles on one side and the blue waters of the Caribbean on the other.  It really is the perfect place to visit.  You can be adventurous one day and the next be soaking up the sun with a cocktail in hand.

*Take the Puddle Jumper from the airport in Belize to the Islands and skip the water taxi - def. worth the extra money and time saved. 🛫

*Eat fresh Ceviche ... every.single.day. 🐟
